Use: Forged steel, weld on rope hook or d ring, designed to be recessed into the side panel corrugations of shipping containers to enable strapping of cargo during transport. However, the upper ones are regularly used to hang shelving etc. in storage containers.
Typically, 5 d rings are fitted at the top and bottom per container side on 20' containers but they can also be fitted on front end walls.
