Use: Can be used anywhere but are commonly used with Bloxwich hinges, pins, bolts and butts or brackets. Fitted on the underside of hinges as a spacer to prevent wear, paint damage and corrosion in use. They also increase security by reducing/eliminating gaps between hinges and hinge brackets/butts which makes cutting of the hinge pins/bolts more difficult (if thieves attempt to cut through the washers instead, they can spin on the pin/bolt which again makes cutting more difficult).
