Use: Weld on general purpose EN10025 S275 5mm formed bumper plate or hinge infill plate for fitting bewteen cotainer door hinges. Increases the corner post strength, prevents snagging during lifting and the R10 outer edge reduces damage too and from other containers during handling operations with cranes and forklifts etc. Standard in 0.9, 1.6, 2.353, 2.5 & 2.658mm lengths but others are available on request.
Don't know exactly where the hinges will be or are reusing existing doors? The 2353mm length fits between the inside faces of the corner castings on 8'6" containers (2591mm overall height) and the 2658mm length fits high cube containers (2896mm overall height). Fit either in place and tack or partially weld then offer the existing doors up and mark where to cut the gaps for the hinge butts or brackets. This approach could save some time.
