Supplied in: 1mm galvanised steel door skins and 2mm galvanised steel frame, an additional 3mm welded astragal is welded to the edges of the leaves for additional security.
Optional Certified Security: For additional security, choose to upgrade to our STS202 BR2 security version. Accredited by the police safety scheme "Secured By Design" (SBD), our Shipping Container Window Shutter has been fully tested and certified to meet the required specification.
Finish: Wet sprayed with a grey primer finish, our doors are prepped to take your final paint coat on-site. We recommend painting within 24 hours of install.
Construction: Manufactured with 1mm galvanised steel door skins and 2mm galvanised steel frames.
Insulation: The door leaves are injected with PU foam for superior insulation values, improved strength and rigidity.
Internal reinforcements: A full sub frame and integral bars are welded inside the doors for additional strength and integrity.
Locking System: 4 internal flush bolts are simple but effective in securing the door leaves within the frame.
Use: Installed to protect against attacks aimed at the windows. Anti-vandal container window shutters are traditionally installed alongside an anti-vandal personnel doors, during manufacture or conversion to offices, accommodation units and homes etc.
These shutters are fitted to the BCP22042 Shipping Container Window Goal Post Frame (if required, supplied separately) and then either the BCP22041 Aluminium Container Window Glazing Unit or the BCP22044 uPVC Intermodal Container Window (both supplied separately) are fitted to the shutters for security applications.
